Online Gambling Bill To Feature In Michigan House Hearing This Week

Observers speculate that this could be the reappearance of Sen. Mike Kowall’s S.203 legalisation measure

The Poker Players Alliance advised in a tweet Monday that the Michigan House is to consider a gaming bill at a hearing tomorrow (Wednesday).
“The PPA will testify at a House hearing on new #iGaming bill in Michigan this Wednesday. Stay tuned for more information,” the tweet informed.
There is speculation that the measure in question may be the much-debated and amended S.203 online gambling bill proposed by Sen. Mike Kowall and approved twice by the Senate (see previous InfoPowa reports).
If this is correct, the hearing will probably be by the House Regulatory Reform Committee, where the Senate bill has been languishing whilst Kowall tweaked it to appease tribal and other concerns.
