Delaware North Launch Betlucky Online Brand

And two West Virginia sports books

Hospitality and entertainment firm Delaware North has opened two West Virginia casino sportsbooks and launched its BetLucky.com online and mobile app for statewide sports wagering.

The retail sportsbooks at Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center in Wheeling and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort near Charleston opened this week following approval from the West Virginia Lottery Commission and the completion of field testing.

Delaware North’s retail and mobile sports betting services were developed in partnership with US provider Miomni Gaming.

“We think West Virginians and visitors to the Mountain State are going to love how easy it is to register and use the app,” Luisa Woods, vice president of marketing for Delaware North’s gaming division, said.

“The platform was designed to be flexible, easy to use and reliable, with innovative features designed specifically to engage and entertain U.S. sports fans. Patrons at the casinos can use the app or the betting tellers in the sportsbooks.”

Rhode Island Sports Betting Takes $683k

In first four and a half days of operation

The Rhode Island Lottery published sports betting revenues taken at the Twin River Casino Sportsbook in Lincoln of $682,714 in four and a half days of operation following launch on November 26 2018.

According to the report, $609,717 was paid out on winning bets, leaving $73,000 in revenue of which 51 percent goes to the State after operating expenses have been deducted.

NBC Sports To Debut Sportsbetting Focused Radio Show

A new daily national sports gaming show “The Daily Line” is scheduled to go on air January 2, 2019 on NBC Sports Radio in the US discussing daily sports topics with a focus on sports betting

“We have been talking about how we want to engage fans in this space,” Rob Simmelkjaer, senior vice president of NBC Sports Ventures, said. “I think that there are different ways of covering it, [including] talking to the really hardcore sports bettor, that group that’s betting big dollars. I think that’s what a VSiN might do or an Action Network.”

The show will be presented by well-known sportscasters Michael Jenkins and Tim Murray.

“We want to have conversations with the average sports fans,” added Jenkins, who will move from the “D.C. Sports Live” show.

Oneida Indian Nation Partners Caesars Entertainment

For sportsbetting in Upstate New York

Federally-Recognised, Central New York, Indian Nation, The Oneida’s, have partnered Caesars Entertainment to bring sports betting to Upstate New York in a licensing and branding alliance.

“The Lounge with Caesars Sports” will open at Turning Stone, Yellow Brick Road Casino and Point Place Casino in 2019, following completion of the National Indian Gaming Commission’s review and the New York State Gaming Commission’s issuance of sports betting regulations, which the Nation will adopt for its casinos pursuant to the Nation-State gaming compact.

Through this new relationship, Turning Stone, Yellow Brick Road and Point Place Casino players will be able to exchange and redeem their TS Rewards loyalty points, as well as have their player tier levels matched, for Total Rewards Points at all Caesars properties, with the same exchange available for Caesars players at Oneida Indian Nation properties.

Caesars will also sponsor special player promotions and events at its new partner venues, bringing Las Vegas to New York gaming locations at the Oneida Indian Nation.
